Boy what a year it has been! Who ever would have thought we would be hit with a pandemic like this. It has been a challenging year for everyone, now more than ever we need to be aware of our vulnerable community members being isolated and lonely. We have managed to offer our Shopping and Lunch outing trips again following the pandemic which has brought our service users together again and socially interacting.

There have been lots of changes at Sedcat this year, we moved premises, we got a new Chief Officer, and got some new staff members and volunteers. We also have a few exciting pilot projects on the go, one of them is looking at having a base in Poole to offer our Hospital Hop service that side. We are also having a new Database system developed which will streamline our operations so we have scope for expansion. We also hope to schedule some exciting outings during the course of next year and form collaborations with other Charities who could use our services in 2022.

We would like to give a heartful thanks to all our service users who we will continue to serve in 2022. Lastly we would also like to give thanks to all those organizations we received funding from during the pandemic ensuring we could continue with our operations to meet the needs of our service users.
