Long Loan
Long loan mobility equipment rentals are available to help local residents and visitors to Bournemouth get around with freedom, independence and dignity. Equipment available for hire from Castlepoint Shopmobility for longer term use includes manual wheelchairs, electric scooters and small collapsible scooters.
How it works
Electric scooters, electric wheelchairs and manual wheelchairs can be hired from sedcat Shopmobility at Castlepoint Shopping Park. Delivery and collection of mobility equipment can also be arranged to a hotel or local address for a charge of £22.00 during Mon-Fri working hours, if required.

For insurance purposes it would be necessary for the user to become a member of our charity sedcat and the charge for this would be dependent on the length of hire

Payment for the hire of all mobility equipment would be via Debit Card and the details of the card would be retained by sedcat to act as the deposit for the scooter or if the hire period needs to be extended, or the equipment is damaged or not returned.
